Our conflict resolution course via e-learning was designed to meet the needs of the Health and Safety executive (HSE) duty of care to employees. From statistics in 2015/16 it is estimated that 54% of all workplace violence incidents are from known individuals (Type 2) and that 46% are strangers (Type3). The TUC estimates that one in eight people will experience violence at work.
Organisations have a legal duty to protect the health, safety and welfare of employees, under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This duty includes all forms of work-related violence, which HSE defines as:
‘Any incident in which a person is abused, threatened or assaulted in circumstances relating to their work’.
Tackling the risk of violence is the same as dealing with any other possible cause of harm in the workplace, such as slips and trips and lifting heavy loads. Trisat provides accredited conflict resolution e-learning training packages to Commercial Organisations in the Financial Sector, Retail and Hospitality Sector as well as Local and Central Government, International Aid Agencies, Security and Event Safety, MOD and Armed Forces, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, NHS, and Health Care sectors.
This course is modular based and is split into three distinct areas, which are:
This means you can take the full course or individual modules to suit your needs. The course can be taken anywhere and at any time either on a PC, Tablet or even Mobile phone. This modern approach is a cost effective and timely service delivery that has proven to be a successful option other than the practical based conflict resolution training.
